EQUIPMENT WARRANTY
Most people know that when you buy a new car, you are expected to keep the maintenance on your car (such as routine oil changes) in order to keep your warranty in place. Well, the same principle applies to your heating and cooling equipment. Manufacturers of heating and cooling equipment state that the equipment owner is responsible for the cost of any service calls requested to demonstrate or confirm the proper operation of the equipment, or to correct any problems with the equipment. The owner is also responsible for the normal care and maintenance of their equipment including, but not limited to, cleaning evaporator and condenser coils, cleaning drain, cleaning burners, or heat exchangers, adjustments, regular filter changes, and having the products reasonably accessible for service.
Lack of maintenance can cause your equipment to fail prematurely and can result in voiding your manufacturer’s warranty.
DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!
